Cruisers are all about fun and practicality. Cruisers can in many ways look like a normal skateboard but with one crucial difference. The wheels on a cruiser skateboard are nearly always much softer than you’d find on regular board, often below 85a. This makes a cruiser board amazingly practical as you can still pop ollies on route and even skate at a park but getting around becomes incredibly easy. Rough surfaces are hardly noticeable and the normal length means they’re easy to pick up and carry when you reach your destination. Longboards provide the same smooth ride as a Cruiser but with added stability and with the benefit of increased space on the board and a longer wheelbase.
